1960s Recruiting Film
This brings back a lot of memories!
I arrived at the Academy for Basic Cadet Training (BCT) in January 1975. The place and how it worked was very much as depicted in the video. We (class of 79) were the last all-male class, so things started to change with the class of 1980.
I noticed how much of the Cadet Area wasn't yet complete. Half the terrazzo (big open area in the middle of the cadet area) wasn't near complete and they hadn't started on the New dorm.

Come now Mr. Plaehn (And I hope you have your chin in SMACK!) I graduated in '77. I assure you that the New Dorm, now called Sijan Hall, was built when you arrived. I was in CS-29, Black Panther, as a 4 degree and lived in it. As usual I am upholding my duty of correcting an underclassman. Being confused is typical of your class...
